IN THE AUTHOR’S MOUTH
«With this new book, and after writing The Queen of Nairobi, it is clear that my greatest weakness is the human being, but, above all, in its feminine version.

A woman, for me, is a compendium of sensations, passions and emotions that makes our body and mind always act motivated by feelings, and that, feelings, is what motivates and excites me the most.

The Three Lives of the Duchess of Grosvencer is the story of a young English woman who has everything, but who very soon, at only seventeen years old, sees how the house of cards in which she lives suddenly collapses. From that moment on, her daily life is a mystery that she lives with a broken heart. She only has an uncertain future ahead of her.

Violet, that’s her name, is weaving her existence the way she likes. Without thinking about “what people will say” so influential in the society in which she was born, overcoming psychological and physical obstacles, and seeking happiness in the small things.

Now an independent and thoughtful woman, she becomes the protagonist of an exciting story where there is no shortage of love, heartbreak, betrayal, success, tragedies…

I have to admit that while I was writing this new novel, logically fictional, there were moments in which I lived in first person the adventures of this woman full of virtues and defects, but above all, courage. I hope it happens to you like it did to me and you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it.

In life there has to be enthusiasm, passion, love, friendship, courage, sympathy, sense of humor… and I think Violet, and the rest of the characters that accompany her in this novel, have it.
