THE STORY OF IRENE LOPEZ

It begins in Barcelona, Spain. Irene’s story challenges the imagination and touches the most sensitive fibers, a story that tears you apart when you travel inside her. Irene stands as a testimony of resilience and hope in the midst of the deepest darkness.

At the age of just fourteen, Irene faced a devastating reality when she was the victim of a multiple rape in Barcelona. This atrocious event marked the beginning of a life sealed by tragedy and suffering, where episodes of violence, kidnappings, pimping and human trafficking occurred over the years, even extending to places like Logroño and Hong Kong.

However, despite the torment to which she was subjected, Irene found within herself an unbreakable strength that led her to fight to survive, making this fight her only option. Her path was filled with challenges, including battling three types of cancer and multiple illnesses from her childhood to the present.

“Faith and unwavering strength brought me to the middle of a life that I now envision with optimism,” declares Irene. “I decided to take the reins of my destiny, rebuild myself and look for true happiness.”

Irene’s story transcends individual suffering to become a message of forgiveness and reconstruction. “Forgiving my executioners and considering them teachers of life was liberating,” he shares. “My goal now is to share my experience to sow seeds of hope and build a better world.”

Today, Irene dedicates her time to writing, literature training, and public speaking. Her books, including “When Life Hurts” and “The Sound of Silence,” as well as her latest work “Angels and Executioners – The Importance of Forgiving.” from the Isthar publishing house, reflect his journey of improvement and forgiveness.
