The darkest side of Picasso

This book tells us, through rigorously documented fictional accounts, what the painter’s relationship with these women was like, while shedding new light on their lives and their contribution to the artist’s career.
The eight women and the eight illustrators
In the book we will meet Fernande Oliver, Eva Gouel, Olga Khokhlova, Marie-Thérèse Walter, Dora Maar, Françoise Gilot, Geneviève Laporte and Jacqueline Roque. These women, wives and partners of the painter, influenced the artist’s works and, not in the same way, the artist influenced their lives. Along with each story we will find a portrait of each woman created by different illustrators: María Hesse, Lady Desidia, Sara Herranz, Laura Agustí, Maria Herreros, Ana Santos, Isa Muguruza and Esther Gili. All of them are great artists from our country and the most followed content creators in the field of illustration. They have worked with different brands and their works have crossed oceans.
Who is Eugenia Tenenbaum?
Eugenia Tenenbaum is an art historian, expert in gender perspective and author of the book La mirada inquieta, an essay on art, published in 2022. With a large digital community, she is one of the most followed and influential art disseminators in Spain. Her main platforms for creating and disseminating content are Instagram and Patreon.
