The last crime of the writer Emilia Ward
by Claire Douglas

Synopsis:

Emilia Ward, the author of the bestselling mystery novels featuring policewoman Miranda Moody, lives happily in an affluent London neighborhood with her husband and two children, a teenager from her first marriage and a toddler from her second. But just as Emilia is putting the finishing touches to her latest novel, life takes a disturbing turn: an incident straight from the plot of one of her books happens in real life. An eerie coincidence, perhaps. Until it happens again, and again. And then someone is murdered using the same M.O. she’s described in the manuscript she’s writing–but there’s one problem: only her editor and those closest to her have read it. What twisted mind is behind it? What if Emilia and her family are next?
