Man is the only animal that stumbles twice with the same stone. Will you say that what is this? Well, this comes to, although too late, after acquiring this book I remembered that another author had read for years and left me the same as his place of origin: ice cream.

It is assumed that Arto Paasilinna, who is who we are talking about, is a renowned Finnish author who happens to be one of the greatest exponents of humor literature in his country and therefore of European literature in recent years. I do not say it, the flap says it is informed that “what makes the books of Arto Paasilinna so special is the irony that envelops each phrase, the black humor that makes the reader cry of laughter and, of course, the bizarre and openly tragicomic characters.”

I can assure you that I did not cry with laughter at any time to read this book, in any case I cried for spent twenty euros on acquiring this novel, and for having agreed too late that I had read of the same author “delicious group suicide”, a book that ended his days in a second -hand bookstore.

I’m going to advance that the book is going and then you decide. A pathetic Finnish businessman, who runs a small battery factory on the verge of bankruptcy, invents, because he has an intelligence greater than half a humanity, an ultralight battery that will revolutionize the international industry. Together with a lawyer, who helps him get out of jail after a dark episode, patents the drums, riding a company, and is dedicated to winning millions of frames who do not know what to spend. In between a series of employees of the new company, Japanese entrepreneurs who want to buy the invention and a Sicilian murderer who hire petroleum sheikhs to eliminate Aatami Rymmatyla, who is called our hero.

Neither the adventures that the protagonists run, nor the appearance of the secondary ones that I just mentioned, make the story lift the flight at any time.

Are tragicomic episodes? Are there bizarre characters? Do you get rid of one with each scene? Honestly, the only thing that happens is that you read between the lines, you jump the paragraphs of two by two and you get to the end wishing to get rid of the book as soon as possible. I could tell you how the story ends, but perhaps it is the only moment that a smile can tear them out.

They are warned. Too many books are published in this country. I do not think it is easy to find this, but if they do under any circumstances, pay attention to the flap. They will thank me.
