Inspector PT Marsh is called to a school where a shooting has occurred and a man is holding hostages. While the teams prepare, Marsh takes up residence on the roof of a shed where he can see the assailant. At that moment, he receives a phone call that precipitates everything, resulting in a death he believes was justified.
From there, Marsh and his partner Remy Morgan begin an investigation in which increasingly uncomfortable questions arise, related to personal demons, blood debts and dark political interests at the highest level. Little by little, clues will appear that perhaps he acted in the wrong way. What if the weight of the past has led him to make a terrible mistake?
JOHN MCMAHON is a writer, publicist and creator of the Inspector PT Marsh series. After studying Economics and Business at the University of California (Los Angeles), he has built a reputation as a creative director of campaigns for different brands, winning a Gold Clio Award for his work, one of the most internationally recognised awards in the world of advertising.
