Trample a zarkass It is an entertaining, dynamic and fun comic, solvent in both Yann’s script and in the graphic section of Didier Cassegrain.
It is starred in two seemingly incompatible heroines that end up developing an unlikely friendship, is full of camaraderie, action, mystery and humor, is set in a fascinating universe and abounds in incredible drawings (especially those of alien species or landscapes.)
It is based on Trap on Zarkassscience fiction novel of the French writer Stefan Wul, but some licenses are taken with respect to the original material, such as investing gender roles (transforms the male protagonists into women, establishes a human race in which power is strictly feminine, etc …) or subverting typical sexism in classical science fiction. The latter achieves it through its representation of the matriarchy, which, far from falling into the rhetoric of dividing gender, flies over the parody. And it is that most women in these pages act as stereotypical men (they curses, insult, reserve men, etc …).
A paste that would put Trample a zarkassalthough it is so lowercase that it lasts to the whole, is that Marcel’s voice is not always consistent, because although he remains rude and lacks all the time, from time to time he uses somewhat educated words that have not just fit him.
What was said: Trample a zarkass It is a great comic. Edited, by the way, in a beautiful integral volume for new nine*, which includes hard lid, color pages and additional sketches and illustrations.
