For the year 2272, global warming will have caused an average temperature in the 90º C land, the polar ice will have, logically, melted, causing the consequent elevation of the level of the seas and in the case of the Argentine Republic (greetings from here to our readers of that country), at least half of its territory, including the Buenos Aires conurbation, will be submerged under the waters. In the land still emerged, once Pampa, the weather will be tropical, with an average of 40º C all year and, in fact, they will be on the banks of the so -called Pampas Caribbean, where, as if it will be a new Panama, the interoceanic channel will take place. However, on the banks of this sea there will be the most prosperous communities of the nation-more than the contrary-that will be found on the shores of the so-called Antarctic Caribbean, previously occupied by the bench of the ice cream contine Speculation at the expense of the innumerable mutant viruses that proliferate on earth …

Anyway, I could continue for a while listing the scientific-technical and political-social predictions of this Ci-Fi/Distopia novel, very successful although, unfortunate child. And not just any child but the dengue child, a mutant born of a woman, but with all the appearance of a giant mosquito (now you begin to understand the reason for that cover a bit and still quite repulsive that have given him to this book, right?). As it can be assumed, the poor dengue child suffers during his childhood no longer disgusting and contempt, but the harassment of his colleagues in school and society in general, although he lives in the either too refined population of Victorica. However, according to the child, it is growing, it is seen that hormones or simply accumulated rabies make him rebel against his Dickensian but and begin to take revenge for his own thousand Pata, first against Your peers other infants and then against humanity, in general. And there (and forgive if it is a spoiler) the pickle begins a tano gore that will delight the most weird readers (and I do not look at anyone …).

So far, we could be talking about a simple despiporre more or less splatterpunk -You do so much-, but also the novel acquires another dimension due to the second narrative line, which leads another important character, another child nicknamed the sweet -one, which by the way, touches the Take … Diptera to poor dengue child-, hooked to a virtual reality game called Christians vs. Indians And that, to entangle everything, he steals some very rare and dangerous merchandise to his brother, smuggler in the interoceanic channel, with unpredictable consequences. The sweet adventures will allow the novel to get into a very suggestive and above all, unexpected metaliterary traffy in a relatively brief novel.

I do not want to go into more details, because much of the interest of this novel is in the continuous surprises that its reading is holding. Just saying that a good part of the comicity that it has is due to employment by its author of a very elaborate, nineteenth -century language, we could say, that contrasts with the barbarities and nonsense that are renewing us. I do not know if the novel can be considered within the bizarre genre or not (I don’t know if the bizarre has rigid and immovable characteristics for its definition, but it would be paradoxical); Doctors has the bizarre church that will know better than me … but I feel obliged to warn the reader or more or less normal reader (also if there is something like that) where he gets from if he decides to read this book … that he will have a pirate, that I also tell you …
