“The Evil King” by Holly Black is the second installment of the “Inhabitants of the Air” trilogy, a dark and romantic fantasy saga set in the world of fairies. In this novel, Jude, a human raised among the faerie courts, will have to face the consequences of having betrayed Prince Cardan and made him king of Elfhame.
