The author:
Zamorana by birth and Valladolid by adoption, Sandra began writing a blog at the age of thirty, after returning to singlehood after a long stable relationship. She thought she would face this new stage with maturity, but she soon realized that in the sentimental field people do the same stupid things at thirty as at fifteen, and that the market was not as bad as her single friends made it out to be!!! IT WAS MUCH WORSE!!! For this reason, she decided to open a blog to tell about the surreal situations that she and her friends experienced when they went out partying.
Her blog “Diario de una thirtyñera” quickly captured the attention of the public, being the winner of the Bitácoras Award for best personal blog in 2013 (the most prestigious Spanish-speaking award that can be granted to a blog), and being nominated again in 2014 as “best humor blog” and “best public blog.”
These awards made Sandra decide to jump from digital to print media in 2015, publishing her first book “I don’t know whether to jump on the train or on the train driver.” In 2017 she published her second work “I miss the rice but not the rabbit.” And it was in 2019 when she took more risks than ever by publishing her first fiction novel, with an original interactive format in which she is the reader in which she decides how the story develops.
