Phantom love
by Lisa Taddeo

Synopsis:

Lisa Taddeo, the award-winning author of Three Women, presents an electrifying collection of nine fearless and fierce stories. Behind anonymous screens, an army of beautiful and efficient girls run the dating app Phantom Lover, a kind of love office that does more than just provide advice to its clients. At a star-studded political fundraiser held at a Los Angeles mansion, three women vie to win the heart of the elusive guest of honor. In a tense hospital waiting room, two inseparable friends crash into the responsibilities of real life, but the magic of their glory days revives when they least expect it. In these nine fascinating stories ― including two Pushcart Prize winners and a National Magazine Award finalist ― Lisa Taddeo brings to life the fever of obsession, the blindness of love, and the pain of the wounds inflicted by men.
