Synopsis:

The stories contained in this volume constitute a vivid portrait of current Havana. A stark and cruel city in the midst of its decadent beauty. Through these vital adventures, often ruthless, we enter the rotten bowels of an exciting, scoundrel and perverted city. We will have the opportunity, thus, to meet captivated characters and their lacerating experiences: an elderly defenestrated female rider, the innocent love of two teenagers, a crude dialogue between a prostitute and his mentor, sketches of characters and everyday scenes, the atmosphere in the streets during the mourning for the death of the Leader of the Revolution, a millionaire in love with her monkeys in a fantasy castle, a tomb desecrator, anecdotes of magic, a deceased person buried in the place of another. Stories, in short, of degradation and unprecedented jobs that allow the characters to solve their daily lives for four measly pesos. A book that will not leave the reader indifferent.
