Algeria, 1914. Yasmina Khadra (Kenadsa, 1955) is an Algerian writer, author of more than thirty volumes with notable success among readers and a magnificent reception among the press. His novels have been made into films, turned into plays and reproduced as comics or illustrated books. Among the numerous awards won throughout his literary career, it is worth highlighting the one given to him by the French Academy in 2011 for his entire work, the Grand Prix de Littérature Henri Gal.
